Send Layout By FTP
Submit A Design

This is the third and final step to submitting your layout to MOSIS for fabrication.
-
Return to your FTP program. Although you opened a connection to
ftp.design.mosis.com, you are not yet "logged in." To log in, enter
your user name and password when prompted.
The user name for login is always the design number of the
project for which you are sending layout.
The password is the one you provided in the Fabricate Web form. |
- Set the correct transfer type: ASCII for CIF, and binary for GDSII.
- Execute the command to send the file to MOSIS. In most FTP programs, the command is "put" followed by the name of the file.
The settings in your FTP program will determine what activity you see in that window. When you receive a message that the FTP was successful and the data has been transfered, you can then close the FTP program.
The FTP successful message means that MOSIS received the file. The design then goes into the MOSIS manufacturability review.
If you receive a message other than "FTP Was Successful," you will need to correct the problem and resubmit your layout.
